In 1987, Richard Lutterbeck founded “Trickstudio Lutterbeck” in a Cologne courtyard. Together with director Matthias Bruhn, it becomes “TrickStudio Lutterbeck GmbH” in 1998. As the studio expands, the projects become more complex and demanding.

Today, our well established team includes experts in conception, development, animation, compositing and web design in our Cologne studio. Experienced professionals work hand in hand with talented new hires. Thanks to a large network of creative professionals, we can master any task, no matter how difficult. We emphasise openness, tolerance and sustainable production processes.

Through our international network, we have extensive experience with complex production structures for international co-productions. And we always find the perfect team for smaller low-budget jobs.

Our focus is on high-quality animation, original design and good storytelling.

TrickStudio is a member of the German Film Academy, the AG Animationsfilm and the Producers Association NRW.
